Paris Spring 2011 Couture


Haute Couture Week is underway in Paris, which means that fashion on the runway is even more wonderful than ever before. John Galliano was inspired by the artist Rene Gruau, who worked in the house in the 40's and 50's, this haute couture season. Layers of tulle and sparkling, created wavy fabric voluminous dresses with big skirts and long trains. The look was retro fashion fantasy.



Haute couture is sometimes larger than life on clothes, but Karl Lagerfeld showed how easy it can be extravagant. Almost all appearance was accompanied by matching leggings. The color palette was soft with pale pink, gray, blue and purple.



Giorgio Armani went futuristic in its approach to the spring 2011 couture. The collection had the space age appeal with metallic looking material. The clothes looked like liquid metal with Pant and skirt suits and dresses reflects the light. The collection had the space age appeal with metallic looking material. The colors were dark steel gray, blue, red and green hues melt into each other.
